NENAS, in partnership with Northern Lights College, is offering a tuition-free Pre-Apprenticeship Trades Exploration Program in Dawson Creek from September 14 to December 18, 2026.
This hands-on program is a great opportunity for participants who are interested in the skilled trades but may not yet know which career path is right for them. Participants will have the chance to explore a variety of trades, gain practical experience, and learn more about the training and career opportunities available in:
- Carpentry
- Mechanics
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Welding
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to Status and Non-Status First Nations individuals living in Northeastern BC. The program is tuition-free, and eligible participants may also receive financial assistance for meals, transportation and other training-related supports.
