North East Native Advancing Society

Helping First Nations and Inuit People in Northeast BC.

At NENAS (located in Fort St John), we offer a variety of resources to help people realize their full potential.  We provide a wide range of programs, training, and services that are all geared towards helping people gain employment and life skills.  We offer employment assistance services, support child care initiatives, and maintain partnerships for the benefit of our participants.

Over the past 30 years, NENAS has been developing capacity-building projects that help provide essential services to the communities in the region.  These services are focused on capacity development, which is a training process that improves the retention of skills, tools, and resources for building on current skill-sets.  By incorporating capacity building into our program development and management, we improve the ability to achieve our mission now and in the future.
